One thing is clear: Robert Spencer exists, and speaks out, over and over.

JihadWatch - major blog. I think most people who pay attention to Islam and are disturbed by Islamic encroachments have come across JihadWatch. Day after day, what jihadic activity has happened that day? Who has detonated themself, also blowing up 42 others? Where have Christians been murdered on that day? What activity has happened re freedom of speech? Where are there riots against freedom of speech? How are blasphemy laws being implemented - just on that day?

It's not a pretty picture. But if you think all is well or the fuss about Islam will soon blow over, JihadWatch is a wake-up call.


That's far from all about Robert. He flies all over the country, speaking and speaking and speaking.

YouTube videos of him abound.

He's interviewed on masses of radio shows and tv shows, especially those (natch) with an anti-jihad perspective. (Why anyone would have a pro-jihad perspective, I don't know - but there are lots, millions and millions of people.)


Where does Robert find the time? Because in addition to all this, he writes and writes and writes - has a dozen books to his credit, including the extra controversial Did Muhammad Exist?

One other thing: if you read his blog or watch him in videos - or interview him - you'll notice he has a sense of humor. Maybe that's what keeps him sane.

Is there anything in his background that gave any indication he'd turn out as he has? Fighter. Thinker. Speaker. A man with a huge amount of courage and persistence and smarts.
