ANTI-SHARIA ACTIVIST

Alain Wagner sees his past self as anyone - an ordinary person living an ordinary life. Mr Anyone. And that is how he expected life to continue.

It didn't. He was pulled out of his ordinary everyday life in the ordinary everyday world he knew by the recognition of what was happening to his world - that something was threatening its very existence, threatening what he saw as ordinary rights he could take for granted. The force he came up against did not recognize, for instance, the equality of women and men, or freedom of speech, as universal human rights.

It was a huge force.

Like so many people who come to recognize Islam as a threat, what came next was learning. What are the facts about Islam? What is the truth about Islam? What are the main Muslim beliefs found in texts like the Qur'an, what are the Islamic beliefs taught in mosques? And what are mosques, according to Islam?

Then, what to do with the new knowledge? Clearly it was vital to be anti Sharia, to work to stop the encroachments of Sharia law. But how does one stop Sharia law?

That is the task Alain Wagner has taken on: opposing Sharia law by exposing that Sharia law is against the laws of Western nations, against the rights enshrined in those laws.

There is one special part of Alain's past he is drawing on. He is a gamester, has had years of experience in gaming. For him, this is as much his home world as the world outside the window.

There are questions one learns to ask when gaming - like what is the best way of playing this game - and especially, not just how does one win the game, but how does one win this war?

Alain has also long been a reader of Sun Tzu's renowned ancient Chinese military treatise, The Art of War.


Alain Wagner is currently the director of the International Civil Liberties Alliance which is increasing pressure on the European Union and also increasing its worldwide networking.
