THE INADVERTENT
ZIONIST

Elaine Black, freelance television producer, has traveled a long journey, and lives between two worlds.

She started as a child actress on the London stage, and later moved from on stage to behind the camera, becoming a commercials producer in London and Sydney. This included working with many of the directors who would later make their mark in feature films, like Ridley Scott of Aliens fame and Stephen Frears of Dangerous Liaisons - who cut their teeth lighting soup cans!

In 2006 during the second Lebanon War, Elaine became gravely concerned about media bias against Israel and inaccurate reporting in the mainstream media. She decided she could no longer remain silent.

Living between London and Sydney and observing the way in which the UK was gradually becoming more Islamised, she felt strongly that the same situation should not occur in Australia.


That led to her taking on an extra life. Without formal planning, Elaine started a newswire service attracting people from all walks of life and all religions, people hungry for knowledge of the Middle East. Journalists, politicians, broadcasters, writers, and media outlets - THE LIST grew!

The Christian following led to extensive networking with others also concerned about Israel, as well as the persecution of Christians, global Islamisation, anti-Semitism, BDS (boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel), activities within the United Nations, and on.

All the subjects overlap, and Israel is always a key focus.

Israel, in Elaine's words, "this tiny strip of land, surrounded by Muslim countries that want its destruction and that, in the short term, are destroying each other."


Unlike most counter-jihadis, Elaine Black doesn't try to reach as wide a readership as possible, but seeks out people who have real influence in sharing information in order to make media reporting more honest, and governments more concerned about, in her words, "what those of us with antennas already see and know". As she says, "Political correctness and our democracies have allowed the long slow creep of Islam to change life in the Western world as we have known it." She fears, in fact, it may already be too late.


Elaine sees her work as simply educating others about what is going on. She feels very rewarded that people value her information flow and share it with others.

She has become, in her own words and in her own way, an "inadvertent Zionist".


Elaine Black is, in her own individual way, very much an activist.
