ALEXANDRA BELAIRE
SPEAKS OUT FOR
FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Alexandra started out in Communist Czechoslovakia - where most citizens were freer in their thinking than many people in the West. Quite something to learn, when living in the supposedly free West.

Instead she has found that she is much more for liberty than most of the people around her. All too often, they are politically correct, intolerant and rigid in their thinking.

Two huge concerns of hers: freedom of speech, and also freedom of of thought. In fact, she sees that lack of freedom of thought is a huge reason for the successful attacks against free speech.

Most recently she has been attending, and blogging on, the court case against Connie and Marc Fournier.



They're fighting multiple lawsuits from multiple people, all relating to freedom of speech in regard to their online discussion forum, the oldest online Conservative meeting place in Canada - now shut down.



Several of the lawsuits aren't even about what they said - but about comments posted by others. They refused to give out the email addresses of the commenters. It's now thousands and thousands of dollars and hours later.

As for Alexandra herself, she's been blogging on controversial subjects, like the court cases involving freedom of speech, and so far NO LAWSUITS. But she moderates comments.

And she blogs about what's happening with others.
